ICSE Schools in India
ICSE is a private board of schooling in India. It stands for Indian Certificate of Secondary Education. The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination or CISCE conducts the examination of the board, to test the general education of students. It takes its roots from Cambridge IGCSE of the colonial rule, which was overtaken by Anglo Indian Board before CISCE took over the reins. The syllabi and structure here are quite similar to that of NCERT. ICSE tends to focus more on language and art, along with core subjects like maths and science.
