The CBSE is the national educational board of India with over two lakh schools affiliated to it. CBSE is known for its well thought out syllabus and organised exams. In an attempt to make education more learner-centric, the CBSE has completely rehauled both the syllabus and examination pattern of grades ninth till twelfth. As a student after finishing her or his final exams enters a higher grade, it is the individual faculty (in this case the faculty being of a young learner) as well which goes up one level. It is thus important that these faculty be nurtured with the right kind of knowledge, facts and information so that it can attain a more analytical bent. To help a student develop critical thinking skills and doing away with rote learning, CBSE recently proposed a list of changes to be implemented for various subjects from grades ninth to twelfth.
