CBSE Sapnon ki Udaan August 2026 entries are open on the theme "Time Management in the Digital Age", with submissions due by 3 September 2026. Students can send stories, poems, travelogues, plays, quizzes or photo essays, but only school Principals may submit, through the school's official cbseshiksha.in email, via the given Google Form. Each school may send up to four best entries from different categories.
CBSE has postponed the Skill Expo and Guidance Festival 2026-27 Regional Events at Bareilly and Rishikesh under the Dehradun RO, citing administrative reasons. No new dates have been set. The Board says a revised schedule will be notified separately, and has asked all concerned schools to take note.
CBSE will hold a webinar on 27 August 2026 for the Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) 2026-27 Regional Level. The live YouTube session runs from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm and is open to heads of schools, teachers and students. The CBSE Kaushal Vikas Capacity Building Programme in Vadodara has a new venue. The one-day training for teachers of Class IX Kaushal Vikas will now be held at Anand Vidya Vihar School, Gotri Road, on 19 August 2026 from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. There is no fee, and teachers must confirm participation with the venue school and carry the NCERT textbook.
CBSE Young India Culinary Championship (YICC) 2026-27 Regional Level registration is open for schools whose students won the School Level round, with 31 August 2026 as the last date and no participation fee. Classes VI to XII compete in two categories across Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai, with the National finale in Chandigarh.

The exam covered compartment, six-subject and improvement candidates; 2,75,287 of 2,91,576 registered appeared, and the compartment pass rate rose to 53.08% from 38.36% in 2025. Schools get results by email; private candidates use DigiLocker.
CBSE Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC) Workshop 2026 registration is open for Classes IX to XII students, free of cost. The online workshop by IIT Kanpur's Entrepreneurship Cell runs on 23 August 2026, with registration from 05 August to 22 August 2026 through an online form. Participation is voluntary.
CBSE has asked all affiliated schools to register for the Swachh Evam Harit Vidyalaya Rating (SHVR) 2026-27 on the SHVR portal or mobile app and complete a self-assessment within the given timelines. Schools are scored on six areas including water, toilets and Mission LiFE, and earn a Star-Rating at district, state and national levels using their UDISE+ code.
The KVS, NVS, EMRS Tier-II recruitment result 2026 will be declared in phases starting mid-August 2026, CBSE has confirmed. Registration closes on 27 August 2026. It is mandatory for teachers of CBSE affiliated schools teaching this skill subject, with no fee and no TA/DA.
CBSE has changed the date of the Kaushal Vikas Capacity Building Programme at Garden High School, Haringhata Farm, West Bengal. The teacher training will now be held on 11th August 2026 (Tuesday), from 09:00 AM to 05:30 PM, at the same venue. CBSE Skill Expo 2026-27 Regional Events results are out, listing rank I, II and III projects by school affiliation number across Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bhubaneswar and Raipur. Position-holder schools have been emailed student and mentor names and qualify for the Culmination Event, tentatively in January 2027.
