Skill Education teachers in Chhattisgarh have a busy September ahead. CBSE will run free, in-person training on the NCERT-developed Kaushal Bodh and Kaushal Vikas textbooks across five districts. The sessions are meant for teachers handling skill subjects in Classes VI to IX, and schools have been told to make sure their skill teachers turn up.
CBSE Capacity Building Programme on Kaushal Bodh and Kaushal Vikas 2026
The board is holding these Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs) in face-to-face, offline mode so teachers learn how to actually use the two textbooks in class. Kaushal Bodh covers activity-based work, while Kaushal Vikas is the second textbook in the set. Both were prepared by NCERT for Skill Education from Classes VI to IX.
Each programme runs from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. There is no fee. Teachers should note one catch: no TA/DA (travel or daily allowance) will be paid for attending.

What teachers must do
Participation is not automatic. CBSE wants teachers to confirm their attendance directly with the venue school, so the host can plan the day. A few pointers before you go:
- Contact the venue school directly to sign up.
- Confirm participation early so logistics can be arranged.
- Carry the NCERT Kaushal Bodh and Kaushal Vikas textbooks along, as the day builds around discussion of these books.
Schools have been asked to send the teachers who actually teach these two subjects, so the training feeds straight back into classrooms. Each venue school has a named contact person and phone number listed on the notification for any queries.
