iCBSE Editorial Team
iCBSE is an independent education-information website. Our editorial team curates and maintains the resources published on this site so that students, parents and teachers can find accurate, up-to-date information about CBSE examinations and Indian education in one place.
What the team does
- Exam resources. We compile and organise CBSE-related study material (subject codes, sample and previous-year question papers, syllabus references and exam guides) and review them for accuracy before they are published.
- School, college and university data. Institution listings are verified against public government sources such as the UDISE+ database for schools and the UGC and AICTE records for colleges and universities, and are corrected as those sources are updated.
- Postal and location data. We maintain pincode, post-office and regional-office information so that contact and location details stay current.
- Tools. We build and maintain free utilities such as the CGPA-to-percentage calculator, keeping their formulas aligned with the methods CBSE publishes.
How articles are written
News articles and study guides are written from official source material such as CBSE circulars, notifications and government databases. Every draft is reviewed by the editorial desk before publication, and articles are corrected or updated when the underlying source changes.
The editorial desk is collectively responsible for the accuracy of every article it publishes. Corrections are always welcome via the contact page.
Independence
iCBSE is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any government body. We are an independent publisher, and the official source for any CBSE notice or result remains the Board's own website. We cite government and official sources wherever possible and welcome corrections.
