The Board confirms no change in question paper design, assessment pattern, or passing criteria from 2025-26. Students can download subject-wise papers and email queries to cbsesqp@cbseshiksha.in.
The CBSE Special Examination 2026 West Asia LOC window is open from 22 September 2026 to 26 September 2026 for Class XII Regular and Private candidates whose main papers could not be held. Students must register online at www.cbse.nic.in, pick one or more of the 40 affected subjects, and note the Application Number. Special Examination marks will overwrite the earlier marks.

CBSE E-Waste Awareness Campaign and Collection Drive 2026 asks all affiliated schools to run a two-phase drive under Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE: set-up from 15 September to 30 September and collection from 1 October to 31 October. Schools must build e-waste corners, use only CPCB/SPCB-certified recyclers, avoid dismantling by children, and log activity on the Mission LiFE portal and CBSE form.
The CBSE Career Guidance Webinar 2026 on My Career Advisor and the Tamanna Aptitude Test is scheduled for 16 September 2026, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, streamed live on YouTube. It is meant for principals, teachers and school counsellors of CBSE-affiliated schools, who can join without registration to learn how to guide students on career choices.
The Department of Skill Education, CBSE will hold a one-day Shorthand English (825) capacity building programme for teachers on 30 September 2026 at YWCA of Delhi, Connaught Place, in offline mode. Registration closes on 28 September 2026 through an official form. Attendance is mandatory for teachers already teaching the subject; no fee and no TA/DA.
CBSE Shorthand Hindi (826) teacher training 2026 is a one-day offline capacity building programme on 25 September 2026 at YWCA of Delhi, Connaught Place, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Teachers of CBSE affiliated schools teaching or planning to teach the subject must register online by 23 September 2026. No fee, no TA/DA.
CBSE has asked all affiliated schools to prepare accurate student records before registration for Classes IX and XI and LOC submission for Classes X and XII open for board exams 2027. Schools must verify names, date of birth, gender, category, parent names, subject-wise registration, and photos and signatures before submitting, to avoid corrections and delays.
CBSE Skill Education Capacity Building Programmes for teachers of Classes VI-VIII run from 14 to 21 September 2026 across six venue schools in Bihar, UP, Delhi, Uttarakhand and Haryana. The offline sessions, built on NCERT's Kaushal Bodh books, are free, run 8:00 am to 2:30 pm, and need advance confirmation with the venue school.
The CTET December 2026 correction window is open on ctet.nic.in from 7 to 10 September 2026 for the 22nd Edition of CTET. Candidates who applied in the 11 May to 10 June window or the additional 25 August to 1 September window can edit their particulars. CBSE says no correction will be allowed after 10 September 2026.

CBSE has extended the CBSE National Teachers' Conference (NTC) 2026 registration deadline to 10.09.2026. The conference theme is 'Computational Thinking and Understanding Artificial Intelligence'. Affiliated schools can now register their teachers against available seats through the official CBSE training portal before the new date.
CBSE has extended the last date for YICC 2026-27 Regional Level registration to 11th September 2026, acting on requests from schools. Concerned schools must complete registration before this date. CBSE Exposure Visit of School Principals 2026 registration is open, with visits to five institutions including NIFT, BITS Pilani and Lady Irwin College between 22 and 30 September 2026. Principals can register online, claim TA/DA up to ₹10,000 against original bills, and must submit claims within 10 days of the visit.
CBSE will hold free Capacity Building Programmes on the NCERT Kaushal Bodh and Kaushal Vikas textbooks for Skill Education teachers of Classes VI to IX in Chhattisgarh. The offline sessions run across Durg, Surguja, Raigarh, Bilaspur and Bastar between 1 and 26 September 2026, from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
