CBSE Exposure Visit of School Principals 2026: Schedule, Registration Link Out

CBSE has opened registration for a fresh round of Exposure Visits for school principals, and the full September 2026 schedule is now out. Principals can sign up to spend a day at some of India’s better-known colleges and universities, watch how they run skill and vocational programmes up close, and take those ideas back to their own schools. The registration link is live, and the visits run through the last week of September.

The Exposure Visit of CBSE School Principals to Organizations/Institutions of Eminence in India is meant to give heads of schools a direct look at best practices at leading institutions. The board wants principals to see how Skill (Vocational) Education plugs into mainstream schooling, meet people who could become future collaborators, and pick up newer classroom trends through hands-on, interactive sessions.

Who gets TA/DA, and the ₹10,000 cap

CBSE will reimburse Travelling Allowance (TA) and Daily Allowance (DA) up to ₹10,000 or the actual expenditure, whichever is lower. This applies to principals of Government and Private Independent Schools, and only against certified hard copies of original bills and supporting papers.

A few conditions matter here:

  • Reimbursement covers just one Exposure Visit per principal in an academic year.
  • Principals who have never joined a CBSE Exposure Visit before get preference.
  • Anyone who has already attended one in a past year will not get TA/DA.

There’s a firm deadline on claims. The TA/DA claim, the certified hard copies of bills and supporting documents, and a one-page report on the visit must reach CBSE within 10 days from the date the visit ends. Claims that come in late, or arrive by email or any electronic mode, will not be considered.

Bills go to: The Professor & Director, Department of Skill Education, Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), 2nd Floor, CBSE Integrated Office Complex, 4, Sector 23, Dwarka, New Delhi-110077.

One more thing on travel. Participants can book air or train tickets only through Ashok Travels and Tours, Balmer Lawrie & Company Ltd, or IRCTC. Book elsewhere and the airfare or train fare will be settled as per norms.

For any doubts, principals can write to the Joint Director, Department of Skill Education, CBSE at skedu-77@cbseshiksha.in.
