Made a slip while filling your CTET form? You now get a short window to fix it. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the CTET December 2026 correction window on the official website, and it stays live for four days only. Candidates who applied for the 22nd Edition of CTET can log in and edit their particulars until 10 September 2026.
The correction facility runs on https://ctet.nic.in from 7 September 2026 to 10 September 2026. After that, the door shuts. CBSE has made it clear that no correction will be allowed after 10 September 2026 under any circumstances.
Who can use the CTET December 2026 correction window
The edit facility is open to both sets of applicants:
- Candidates who filled the form during the additional application window, held from 25 August 2026 to 1 September 2026.
- Candidates who had successfully submitted their applications during the earlier window, from 11 May 2026 to 10 June 2026.
So even if you applied back in May or June, you can still correct your details now. Corrections apply to particulars “as applicable,” meaning the fields the portal allows you to change.

The online application process first opened from 11 May 2026 to 10 June 2026. CBSE later reopened the portal from 25 August 2026 to 1 September 2026 to give one more chance to all eligible candidates who could not apply during the earlier window.

Log in to https://ctet.nic.in, check every field in your form, and set right anything that reads wrong. Watch the fields the portal permits you to edit. The window is tight, just four days, so don’t leave it for the last hour.
