Students who like to write, click photos, or put together a quiz now have a fresh reason to. The Central Board of Secondary Education has opened entries for the August 2026 edition of its e-magazine, Sapnon ki Udaan, and set 3 September 2026 as the last date to submit. This time the theme is “डिजिटल युग में समय प्रबंधन / Time Management in the Digital Age”.
Only school Principals can send the entries, and they must do so through the school’s official cbseshiksha.in email ID. So a student cannot upload work on their own. Talk to your teacher or Principal first.
What CBSE Sapnon ki Udaan August 2026 is asking for
The main theme runs around handling time in a screen-heavy world. CBSE has listed several sub-themes writers can pick from:
- Time Management as a Life Skill
- Intelligent Time Budgeting
- Self-Regulation and Discipline
- Digital Discipline and Screen-Time Management
- Balancing Academics, Play and Well-Being
- Role of Teachers and Parents in Developing Time-Management Skills
- Stress Management
- Goal Setting and Prioritization
- Prioritizing Sleep, Fitness and Social Life dilemmas
- Ethical Use of Technology and Preventing Digital Dependency
Content on the theme becomes the issue’s highlight. But entries outside the theme are welcome too, as long as they fit the categories below.

Rules to keep in mind
Each school can send a maximum of four best entries, and they must be from different categories. All work has to be original and unpublished. Plagiarised or AI-generated content will be rejected outright.
There’s also a rule that keeps the door open for newcomers: a contributor whose work has already appeared once in Sapnon ki Udaan will not be considered for the next three issues.
How to submit
Entries go through this Google Form: https://forms.gle/4q1sEYvEqx188PRj8
The submission window closes on 3 September 2026. For any queries, schools can write to e-magazine@cbseshiksha.in. Principals are expected to spread the word among students and teachers so that fresh voices get a chance in the August issue.
