CBSE has asked schools to help students apply for the National Startup Awards 2026 Student Innovator / Aspiring Entrepreneur Award under NSA 6.0, run by DPIIT. The special category carries a ₹25 lakh prize pool across four age groups from 10 years upwards. Applications are routed through State/UT Startup Nodal Agencies, and winners will be announced on 16 January 2027.
NCERT has introduced An Introductory Module on Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence for Secondary Stage (Grades 9-12), aligned with NEP 2020. Built for students with no prior AI knowledge, it uses activity-based learning that works with or without digital devices and stresses data privacy, misinformation, and the safe, ethical use of AI.

CBSE has announced a revised National Scholarship Portal (NSP) framework for Academic Year 2026-27. Scholarships are now split into merit-based and welfare-based categories, and a student can hold both. The portal will reuse first-application details, and schools must inform eligible students and parents.
CBSE Class 12 Special Examinations 2026 for West Asia students will cover the 40 subjects cancelled during the 2026 Board exams. Following a Supreme Court order, eligible regular and private candidates whose results came under the Assessment Scheme must submit their LOC or examination form personally between 22 September 2026 and 26 September 2026. No fee is charged and results will be final.
The CBSE Talkathon on Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat 2026 will be live-streamed on CBSE's YouTube channel on 20 September 2026 at 06:00 PM IST for 45 minutes. CBSE Sapnon ki Udaan August 2026 entries are open on the theme "Time Management in the Digital Age", with submissions due by 3 September 2026. Students can send stories, poems, travelogues, plays, quizzes or photo essays, but only school Principals may submit, through the school's official cbseshiksha.in email, via the given Google Form. Each school may send up to four best entries from different categories.
CBSE Amrit Udyan Summer Annuals 2026 school visits are now open, with the Rashtrapati Bhavan gardens welcoming the public from 16 August to 15 September 2026, 10 am to 6 pm, closed Mondays. Schools must book online only, at least 24 hours ahead, with bookings closing 10 AM the previous day. Up to 100 students per booking, entry through Gate No. 35 in proper uniform.
