Schools planning to attend CBSE’s big skill-education event have new dates to note. The 4th National Summit on “Facilitating School-to-Work Transition”, first set for 23rd–24th September 2026, will now take place on 26th–27th October 2026. And there’s a second bit of good news for schools that missed the earlier cut-off: registration is open again, with a fresh deadline.
The move comes for administrative reasons. The venue stays the same.
CBSE 4th National Summit on School-to-Work Transition 2026: new dates and venue
The Summit will be held at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre (DAIC), 15, Janpath Road, Windsor Place, New Delhi – 110001. Here is what changed and what didn’t:
| Detail | Earlier | Now |
|---|---|---|
| Summit dates | 23rd–24th September 2026 | 26th–27th October 2026 |
| Venue | DAIC, New Delhi | DAIC, New Delhi (unchanged) |
| Registration deadline | Closed earlier | Extended to 15th September 2026 |
Registration reopened, last date 15th September 2026
Many schools had asked CBSE to let them sign up. The board has reopened the registration link and pushed the last date for registration up to 15th September 2026.
Schools and participants who register can do so through this form: https://forms.gle/PMSxuYCLQKYpx49T6
A point worth repeating for schools that acted early. If you have already registered for the Summit, you don’t need to register again. Your existing registration stays valid for the new October dates. So don’t fill the form twice.
All other details and instructions from the original circular remain unchanged.
Who should track this
The Summit sits under CBSE’s skill education work, which looks at how students move from school into jobs and further training. Principals, skill teachers, and coordinators handling career and vocational programmes are the ones who will want to plan travel and participation around the revised schedule.
For any question, schools can write to cbsenationalsummit@gmail.com.
Action points are simple. Mark 26th–27th October 2026. If not yet registered, use the form before 15th September 2026. If already in, do nothing and keep the confirmation handy.
