The National Testing Agency has announced the SWAYAM July 2026 semester exam dates. The exam will be held from 08 to 12 December 2026, with 13 and 14 December 2026 kept as buffer dates. Candidates should track exams.nta.nic.in/swayam and nta.ac.in for admit cards and further updates.
CBSE Class 12 Special Examinations 2026 for West Asia students will cover the 40 subjects cancelled during the 2026 Board exams. Following a Supreme Court order, eligible regular and private candidates whose results came under the Assessment Scheme must submit their LOC or examination form personally between 22 September 2026 and 26 September 2026. No fee is charged and results will be final.
The NTA Examination Calendar 2027 is out, listing tentative dates from December 2026 to March 2027, including UGC NET December Cycle, JEE (Main) Session 1 in January 2027, CMAT, CUET (PG) and more. The CBSE Talkathon on Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat 2026 will be live-streamed on CBSE's YouTube channel on 20 September 2026 at 06:00 PM IST for 45 minutes. Students can send questions, posters or video clips on X and Instagram from 16 to 20 September 2026 using #NashaMuktYuva and #CBSETalkathon. A panel from the Narcotics Control Bureau, AIIMS New Delhi and CBSE schools will answer selected questions.
CBSE Yuva for Viksit Bharat Programme 2026 will run in all affiliated schools through September and October 2026 with art workshops, essay and poster competitions, group discussions and a tree plantation drive. Schools must also join the CBSE Talkathon on #NashaMuktYuva for Viksit Bharat on 20 September 2026 and submit an activity report through a Google Form by 31 October 2026.
CBSE E-Waste Awareness Campaign and Collection Drive 2026 asks all affiliated schools to run a two-phase drive under Eco Clubs for Mission LiFE: set-up from 15 September to 30 September and collection from 1 October to 31 October. Schools must build e-waste corners, use only CPCB/SPCB-certified recyclers, avoid dismantling by children, and log activity on the Mission LiFE portal and CBSE form.

Candidates, students, institutions, and service providers writing to the National Testing Agency should update their records and send all letters and official communication to this new premises.
NCERT has opened applications for its Six-month Certificate Programme on Developing Social Science Textbooks and Other Curricular Materials, running September 2026 to February 2027. CBSE CTET December 2026 exam dates are out: the 22nd edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test will be held on 12th and 13th December 2026. Candidates can check their allotted exam city on the CTET portal 15 days before the exam, while the admit card with the centre address comes two days before.
The Department of Skill Education, CBSE will hold a one-day Shorthand English (825) capacity building programme for teachers on 30 September 2026 at YWCA of Delhi, Connaught Place, in offline mode. Registration closes on 28 September 2026 through an official form. Attendance is mandatory for teachers already teaching the subject; no fee and no TA/DA.
CBSE Shorthand Hindi (826) teacher training 2026 is a one-day offline capacity building programme on 25 September 2026 at YWCA of Delhi, Connaught Place, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Teachers of CBSE affiliated schools teaching or planning to teach the subject must register online by 23 September 2026. No fee, no TA/DA.
CBSE Veer Gatha 6.0 2026 is open for Grade 3 to 12 students, with poems, essays, paintings, multimedia and short videos on Gallantry Award winners. Schools conduct and evaluate activities till 4 October 2026, then upload one best entry per category, four in all, on the MyGov portal between 5 and 19 October 2026. National winners get Rs. 10,000 each.

The UGC-NET June 2026 Re-Exam provisional answer key challenge window is open from 10 to 13 September 2026 for English, Commerce and Sociology. NTA charges Rs. 200 per question, refundable if the challenge is accepted, with fee payment allowed up to 13 September 2026 (11:59 P.M.) online only.

NTA has issued a travel advisory for UGC-NET Examination candidates at Delhi centres, warning of traffic curbs during the 18th BRICS Summit at Bharat Mandapam from 11 September 2026 to 13 September 2026. Candidates are told to plan their journey early, check Delhi Traffic Police advisories, and reach the centre before the Admit Card reporting time.
The Guidelines for conducting written examination for persons with benchmark disabilities 2018 set clear rules on scribes, compensatory time and assistive devices for candidates with disabilities. Issued by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities under the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, they replace the 2013 guidelines and apply to all examining bodies, spelling out who gets a scribe, scribe qualifications and extra time allowed.
The CTET December 2026 correction window is open on ctet.nic.in from 7 to 10 September 2026 for the 22nd Edition of CTET. Candidates who applied in the 11 May to 10 June window or the additional 25 August to 1 September window can edit their particulars. CBSE says no correction will be allowed after 10 September 2026.
