JEE Main 2027 Session 1: Fresh Application Form Allowed, Last Date 22 November 2026
Made a mistake in your JEE (Main) 2027 Session 1 form? You now get a clean slate. The National Testing Agency will let candidates fill a fresh Online Application Form for JEE (Main) 2027 Session 1, even those who already have an Application Number or have paid the examination fee. The window to do this closes on 22 November 2026 at 11:50 P.M.
The move follows complaints from candidates about errors they made while filling the Session 1 form. Rather than being stuck with a wrong entry, they can start over.
JEE Main 2027 fresh application form: how it works
A few conditions decide which of your forms actually counts. Read them before you touch the portal.
- Which form is valid: Only the last Application Form for which you have successfully paid the examination fee and generated the Confirmation Page will be treated as valid. Start a fresh form but skip the fee payment and Confirmation Page, and your earlier completed form stays valid.
- What a fresh form means: Every fresh form gets a new Application Number. You must enter all details again and re-upload your photograph, signature and documents. Nothing carries over.
- Fee is not transferred: The fee paid on an earlier form will neither be refunded nor adjusted against the fresh one. So a fresh form means paying again.
Key dates for JEE Main 2027 Session 1
| Action | Window |
|---|---|
| Fresh application (with fee payment) | On or before 22 November 2026, upto 11:50 P.M. |
| Fresh application with late fee | 23 November 2026 to 26 November 2026, upto 11:50 P.M. |
| Correction facility | 27 November 2026 to 29 November 2026 |
If you only need to change a few details, don’t fill a whole new form. NTA advises using the correction facility instead, which opens on 27 November 2026.
One attempt per session, whatever you do
Submitting more than one form does not let you sit the exam twice in the same session. A candidate who appears, or tries to appear, using more than one Application Number will be treated as having used Unfair Means (UFM), and action follows as per the Information Bulletin. Simply holding more than one Application Number, without using them to appear, won’t be counted as UFM.
