It was a joyous moment for the staff of KLE Society School as all the students passed the CBSE examinations this year. Principal Saroja Shillin told reporters that the school, which was started a decade ago, had 100% result for the first batch of students.
The results of class 10 exam conducted by CBSE that was declared on Friday as per the new grading system, has put the students in a fix. Topper of the school Keerti Gargi wondered that how she should ascertain the exact scores. "I have scored 9 CGPA grade on a 9-point scale," she said. Other toppers, Laxmi Patil and Ahwini Shetty, who also scored 9 CGPA said the grading system was good as well as bad.
Rubeena Devihosur, who also scored 9 CGPA said: "I am not happy as I do not know the exact percentage. Even if there is a difference of 2-3% between two students, the grade system will place them on equal footing."
Of the 30 students who appeared for the exam, nine students have scored CGPA between 8-9, seven students between 7-8 CGPA, six students between 6-7 CGPA and eight students between 5-6 CGPA, said principal Saroja.
