Admissions to Junior College remain Online

Junior College Admission Mumbai

The state government has decided to go online for junior colleges admission this year as well. This despite the inconvenienced faced by the students due to the reported technical glitches during the online admission process - adopted for the first time by the government - last year.

All students, who have appeared for their 10th grade exams for all boards like SSC, CBSE, ICSE, ISE, etc. in the state, will have follow the online procedure for admissions to junior colleges this year. Students and parents have been informed that the information booklet regarding the online admission process for academic year of 2010-11 will be available on the state government website www.maharashtra.gov.in from Monday afternoon, a press release by deputy director of education (Mumbai Region) said.

The printed copy of the information booklet with the students login ID, password and sample form along with the college code list will be made available in their secondary schools from April 5 on payment of a prescribed fees, it said.

The training programme for students and parents about filling of applications will be held in their respective schools between 19 to 23 April, it added.
