Sat for NEET (UG) 2026 but still haven’t got your exam fee back? The National Testing Agency (NTA) has begun refunding the examination fee, and the money will land only in bank accounts that candidates have registered on the portal. If yours isn’t updated yet, you have until 31 July 2026 (11:50 P.M.) to add it.
The undergraduate medical entrance test was held on 3 May 2026. NTA says the refund of examination fees has already started, with the amount going straight into the bank accounts candidates submitted.
Here’s the catch. As on 14 July 2026, only 11,46,401 candidates had shared their bank account details. Everyone else who is due a refund still needs to fill this in, or the transfer can’t reach them.

The step is simple but easy to miss. Log in, enter your correct bank account details, and save them before the deadline. Miss the window and the refund cannot be processed into your account.
