CBSE Kaushal Vikas Teacher Training in 3 UP Cities

CBSE Kaushal Vikas Teacher Training in 3 UP Cities

Class IX teachers handling the Kaushal Vikas textbook have three chances in early August to sit through a full-day training session, and it won’t cost them a rupee. CBSE has fixed Capacity Building Programmes at three schools across Uttar Pradesh, all in face-to-face mode. Schools have been told to make sure the teachers who actually teach the subject are the ones who turn up.

The sessions run from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Two venues open on the same day. Here is where teachers need to go:

What teachers must do before they arrive

There is no online registration window here. Teachers can contact the venue schools directly for participation, and the board has asked them to confirm attendance beforehand so the host school can sort out logistics for the day.

One more thing to pack: participants must carry the NCERT Kaushal Vikas textbook to facilitate effective discussions. Walking in without it defeats the purpose, since the day is built around the book itself.

Money matters

  • There is no fee for attending these Capacity Building Programmes.
  • No TA/DA will be paid to the participants for attending these CBPs. In plain terms, travel and daily allowance are on the teacher or the school, not the board.

Why this matters for Class IX classrooms

Kaushal Vikas is the skill education textbook brought in for Class IX students. Capacity Building Programmes, or CBPs, are CBSE’s standard route for training teachers of affiliated schools before or during the rollout of a new book or subject. The board’s line is direct: schools must ensure that the teachers teaching Kaushal Vikas to Class IX participate in this CBP for effective implementation in their respective schools.

For parents, the practical read is simple. The teacher taking skill education in their child’s Class IX section is expected to have gone through this session, which should show up in how the textbook is used through the year.

Any queries go straight to the venue coordinators listed above. Teachers eyeing the Greater Noida or Kanpur session have until 1st August 2026 to confirm with the host school.
