Science and Maths just got easier to see, not just read. CBSE has told all its affiliated schools to spread the word about more than 845 curriculum-aligned Virtual Labs and digital learning resources now available free on DIKSHA, the government’s national school-education platform. Students, teachers, and parents can reach these labs through the DIKSHA portal, its mobile app, and QR codes printed inside NCERT textbooks.
The labs are mostly built around Science and Mathematics. Each one is mapped to the NCERT syllabus, matched to specific classes, subjects, chapters, and learning outcomes, so a student can pull up the exact experiment that goes with a chapter they are studying.
What the CBSE DIKSHA Virtual Labs offer
The repository was developed by the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), working through CIET-NCERT, in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. These are virtual, on-screen versions of lab experiments, useful for schools that may not have full physical lab equipment and for students who want to practise at home.
How to access the Virtual Labs on DIKSHA
The circular lists five ways to get in:

What schools have been asked to do
CBSE has asked principals and heads of all affiliated schools to circulate this information widely and push students, teachers, and other stakeholders to make use of the courses. There is no fee, no registration deadline, and no exam attached. The resource stays open on DIKSHA for anyone who wants to try an experiment on screen.
For a student stuck on a tricky Physics or Chemistry chapter, the quickest start is the QR code already printed at the top of that chapter in the NCERT book. Scan it, and the matching lab opens.
