A Harrowing Experience at Indus World School I joined Indus World School in 2016 with high hopes for a fulfilling career. Initially, the school held a commendable reputation and upheld strong work ethics. However, the post-lockdown era witnessed a drastic decline in both the school's standing and its ethical standards. In November 2022, I found myself entangled in a distressing situation. I was entrusted with the responsibility of handling transportation, only to discover that the contracted transporter had failed to return an advance payment received from the school. To my dismay, without any prior notice, my salary was withheld, contingent on the transporter's repayment. Despite a year passing, the situation remains unresolved, and my salary remains unpaid. This unprofessional conduct by the school has left me deeply disheartened and disenchanted with my employment experience at Indus World School. Regrettably, I cannot in good conscience recommend seeking employment at this institution, given the disregard for employee well-being and the apparent erosion of ethical standards. It is my sincere hope that prospective employees and stakeholders take heed of this cautionary tale.
