Still haven’t filled your UGC-NET June 2026 form? You’ve got a little more breathing room. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has pushed the last date for submission of the online application form for UGC-NET June 2026 to 24 May 2026, after a fresh round of requests from candidates who wanted more time to apply.
The move follows two earlier Public Notices on the same registration, and the agency has made one thing plain: this is the final window. No more extensions will be given, whatever the reason.
UGC-NET June 2026 application form last date: the revised schedule

So both the form and the fee payment now close at 11:50 P.M. on 24 May 2026. The correction window shifts to 26 May 2026 to 28 May 2026.
What UGC-NET June 2026 covers
UGC-NET is the eligibility test the NTA conducts for aspirants eyeing higher education careers. This cycle lets candidates apply under three options: award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) along with appointment as Assistant Professor; appointment as Assistant Professor plus admission to Ph.D.; and admission to Ph.D. only, across Indian universities and colleges.

Made a mistake while filling the form? Candidates can edit their details through the correction window at https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in during the period it stays live, that is 26 May 2026 to 28 May 2026.
