Schools in five cities now know exactly where to head for the CBSE Skill Expo and Guidance Festival 2026-27. The Board has fixed the venues for the Pune, Bhubaneswar and Raipur regional events, and the first one falls on 16 July. If your school wants in, the registration cut-off comes even sooner, so the clock is already ticking.
The expo is a hands-on fair where students show off skill-based projects and get career guidance. CBSE, the national board that runs Class 10 and 12 exams for thousands of affiliated schools, holds these festivals region by region. Each Regional Office covers a cluster of schools, and only schools under the listed office can take part in that particular event.
Here is the full schedule, with the dates that actually matter for schools:
| Event date | Venue | Schools from (Regional Office) | Registration closes | Selected schools told by |

Schools register through a single online form for all the events: https://forms.gle/J6EL23asc9seoTyL9.
Note how the registration deadline sits days ahead of each event. A school under the Pune office, for instance, has to apply by 11 July for the 16 July expo at Nashik or Nagpur. After the form closes, CBSE picks the schools and informs them by the date in the last column. So a ‘no reply yet’ on 12 July is not bad news for Pune schools, that’s simply the day the list is meant to go out.
This batch covers Maharashtra, Odisha, West Bengal and Chhattisgarh through the three regional offices. The Board has said venues for the remaining regional events will come in a separate notice later, so schools in other regions should keep watching for their own dates.
A quick word on the geography, because it trips people up. The event city isn’t always the regional office city. Pune-region schools travel to Nashik or Nagpur. Bhubaneswar-region schools report at Cuttack or Kolkata. Raipur is both office and venue. Check which office your school sits under before you plan the trip.
Got questions about eligibility or the form? CBSE has given an email for queries: skillexpo@cbseshiksha.in. Principals should circulate the dates internally now and lock the registration before the window shuts.
