A total of 162 seats were allotted to the candidates included in the merit list of the AIPMT Entrance, under the All India Quota seats for MBBS/BDS on the 6th day of counseling (23.6.2010). Of this 161 seats were for MBBS and 1 for BDS.
At the end of counseling on the 6th day, 1140 seats are available under All India Quota of which 913 are for MBBS and 227 for BDS.
Counseling has been completed up to UR rank 1130 on the 6th day.
Of the 913 MBBS seats left, 63 are in Assam, 37 in Bihar, 29 in Chathisgarh, 13 in Goa, 10 in Gujarat, 15 in Jharkhand, 130 in Karnataka, 8 in Meghalaya, 181 in Maharashtra, 14 in Manipur, 65 in MP, 38 in Orissa, 156 in Tamil Nadu, 15 in Tripura, 3 in UP, 24 in Uttaranchal and 112 in West Bengal.
All MBBS seats in Medical Colleges of Chandigarh, Delhi, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Kerala, Punjab and Rajasthan have already been filled.
Seats for BDS are available in all the 28 Colleges included in the counseling. This includes 18 BDS seats in the 3 Government Dental Colleges in Kerala.
