The wait is over for Ayush postgraduate aspirants. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2026, and candidates can now download them from the official portal. The exam falls on 22 August 2026, so there’s very little time left to check every detail on the hall ticket.
AIAPGET is the single entrance test for admission to postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy. NTA conducts it on behalf of the Ministry of Ayush, NCISM and NCH. This year it will again be held as a Computer Based Test (CBT).
How to download the AIAPGET 2026 admit card
Admit cards are hosted on https://exams.nta.nic.in/aiapget/. To pull yours out, you’ll need your Application Form Number and Password. Log in, open the admit card, and read the printed instructions closely before exam day. NTA has made it clear: the admit card will not be sent by post.
AIAPGET 2026 exam date and shift timings
The test runs in two shifts on the same day, with different subjects in each. Here’s the breakdown:

What candidates must keep in mind
NTA has flagged a few points that every candidate should note:
- The admit card is issued provisionally, subject to you meeting the eligibility conditions.
- Do not mutilate the admit card or change any entry on it.
- Getting an admit card does not automatically mean your eligibility is accepted. It will be checked again at later stages of admission.
- Keep a copy of the admit card safe. You may need it for future reference.
One thing worth repeating: an admit card in hand is not a confirmation of eligibility. That scrutiny happens later.
