St. Aloysius Degree College, Cox Town, is an exceptional college that has combined academic excellence with human and social concern. As a student I have been involved in citizens issues, social problems and in studying the subjects. College is a community here and there is a spirit of oneness. St. Aloysius Degree College is a rare college and a unique one. It is disciplined. Students are involved in all kinds of curricular and co-curricular activities. Teachers are excellent. The Principal is a good leader committed to excellence. Students work hard. Classes begin at 8.30 a.m. and close by 1.30 p.m. There is time for all kind of activities after class hours. It is one of the outstanding colleges of the Bangalore University. Known for academic excellence, the college has large number of extension activities and co-curricular activities. Though a recent college its exceptional in terms of forming men and women for social change. All the teachers are competent and capable. They have all passed NET/SET. They not only teach do remedial work. It is a joy to study here. It is a happy college. ~ by Sarvanan

One of the finest colleges of Bangalore. The college offers B.Com./BBA/BCA/BA in Journalism, English and Political Science. It has a three year professional course in Bachelor of Social Work. The results of the college are between 95% to 100%. Highly qualified faculty with all the Staff passed with NET/SET with some with Doctorates. College has an environment of learning with lots of extension work and even students research. Wonderful bunch of students from across the country. You will not regret your choice if you decide to enrol in this college for any course. The college has plenty of co-curricular activities ~ by Pratap Rao
