Emmanuel College, Vazhichal Thiruvananthapuram

I have been a student in this college for the past five years and completed BSc and doing MSc. I wouldn't recommend this college if you are intelligent and like to be independent, the college management has some strategic fascist agenda that they will do anything as far as to deny your own dignity and self respect inorder to maintain their archaic, tribalistic and overly conservative rules (it includes not wearing jeans and tshirts, prohibition of smartphones, restrictions on talking to someone of opposite gender students and so on) . This college has somewhat an adequate infrastructure but still not as enough as how a college of 2020 should be. Usage or bringing smartphones is banned. Like i said, its 2020 and smartphones can contribute as much as what a university or institution can for education. The non-teaching staffs especially security guards think they are on top of the world and treat you with no respect. They have an affordable fee structure for a self financing college. This college is only for those who come from a conservative background and if you're not, you will hate this college and eventually yourself.
