Ryan International School West Bengal

Both my son (SOUHARDYA ROY: From Class VI to X) and daughter (SRIJA ROY: From Class I to V) studied in this school since its establishment in 2015 till 2020. The school started with a great hope in 2015 and had the potential to be an excellent school by this time. However, that did not happen mainly because of its failure to recruit sufficient number of teachers and stop the attrition of both qualified teachers and students. As a result, it failed to take off for the next stage of development. It is surprising that even after getting CBSE affiliation in 2019 itself the school is yet to start Senior Secondary. Even, in other levels (Nursery, Primary, Middle, Secondary) too there is no growth in the number of students. This is in sharp contrast to all other schools in and around Bolpur-Santiniketan. I am not giving any overall ranking for this school but in terms of infrastructure, discipline, ambiance & cleanliness it deserves 5 Stars. Definitely learning is a joy here but administration/management should recognize that academics also matters where the school failed miserably. The management also need to win the heart of the aggrieved teachers, students and parents because they are the future ambassador of any school. Still I believe, if management/administration takes some immediate and corrective steps, then it has all the potential to become one of the best school in this area. In fact many other groups are now showing their interest to take over this school from RIGS.
