The Criteria for selection of Assistant Teachers under Regional Level Selection Test are as follows:

(A)	Academic including Professional Qualifications -	25 marks
(B)	Written Examination (i) Paper I relating to the relevant subject - marks (ii) Paper II relating to General Knowledge & Aptitude Test etc. -	60 marks 10 marks
©	Personality Test [Appearance before the P.T. Board is compulsory] -	5 marks
	Total -	100 marks

The Criteria for selection of Headmaster/Headmistress is as follows:

(A)	Written Examination -	55 marks
(B)	Academic including Professional Qualifications -	25 marks
©	Higher Qualifications -	3 marks
(D)	Teaching Experience -	7 marks
(E)	Personality Test [Appearance before the P.T. Board is compulsory] -	10 marks
	Total -	100 marks

The Criteria for selection of Non Teaching Staff - LIBRARIAN is as follows:

(A)	Written Examination -	70 marks
(B)	Academic including Professional Qualifications -	20 marks

The Criteria for selection of Non Teaching Staff - CLERK is as follows:

(A)	Preliminary Screening Examination  - [The marks obtained in the preliminary screening examination under sub-rule (1) of rule (7) of the WB School Service Commission (Selection to the Post of Non-Teaching Staff) Rules, 2009 by such qualified candidates shall not be added to the marks obtained in the examinations/ tests conducted afterwards]	30 marks
(B)	Written Examination -	30 marks

(D)	Personality Test with Typing and Computer Proficiency

Personality Test	05 marks

(A)	Preliminary Screening Examination  - [The marks obtained in the preliminary screening examination under sub-rule (1) of rule (7) of the WB School Service Commission (Selection to the Post of Non-Teaching Staff) Rules, 2009 by such qualified candidates shall not be added to the marks obtained in the examinations/ tests conducted afterwards]	30 marks
