The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) launches its online training courses on DIKSHA platform for capacity building of its teachers based on select CBSE training manuals and NCERT’s NISHTHA modules. Teachers can register themselves on DIKSHA and complete the training courses.
Two courses ‘Pedagogy of Environmental Studies’ and ‘Health and Well-being in Schools’ were launched 2 days ago, on May 3rd, 2020 and the board states that more courses will be launched in the coming months and intimation for the same will be shared in due time. Teachers who successfully complete the training will be able to download their digital certificates on DIKSHA starting from 15th June 2020.
Teachers will be able to access the courses by downloading the DIKSHA application on their Android smartphone by clicking on the link http://bit.ly/cbse-diksha and click the links below beside the course name to open the course on DIKSHA mobile application or desktop/laptop web browser.
DIKSHA is a unique initiative built to support teachers digitally, at the national level. You can download the DIKSHA mobile app on any device with Android OS 5.0 and above. The app supports seven different languages and allows you to consume content created and maintained by your organization. You can consume all the content in the 'Library' section and the courses in the 'Course' section of the app. DIKSHA also offers students and parents engaging in learning material relevant to the prescribed school curriculum.
