GAT Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech. and B.Arch. Courses

Pass in 10+2/12th examination from a recognized Central / State Board or its equivalent either in 2011 or 2010 subject to securing the following percentage of marks in specified subjects.

• B.Tech. (except Biotechnology) and B.Arch. Programs : A minimum of 60% marks aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and 1st Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination in single attempt.
• B.Tech. in Biotechnology: A minimum of 60% marks aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry or Biology, Physics & Chemistry and 1st Class or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination in single attempt.

Score obtained in GAT (UGT)

Note: Students who are appearing for 10+2/12th examination in 2011 or who passed 10+2/12th examination in 2010 only are eligible. Students who passed 10+2/12th examination in 2009 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear for GAT (UGT) 2011.

Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech.

Pass in the Qualifying Examination as specified below with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade and Score obtained in GAT (PGT) 2011.
