ADMISSION TO PGDM 2010-2012
Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) is an autonomous institution, fully funded by Government of Bihar and supported by experts from IIMsand industry.
THE PROGRAMME The Post Graduate Diploma in Management is a 2 year full time programme. The unique design of the programme aims at integrating various disciplines in Management. (CIMP has collaborated with Harvard Business School Publishing Corporation for sourcing teaching materials). Apart from class room sessions, students will have opportunities to participate in professional seminars, organizational exposure and case studies, which acquaint them with the practical realities of the workplace.
ELIGIBILITY A bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks or equivalent degree/diploma in any discipline from a recognized university. Students appearing for the final year of degree examination before June 2010 can also apply. Candidates seeking admission to CIMP must have appeared in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMsduring November-December 2009.
HOW TO APPLY Application forms are available at selected branches of AXIS BANK (given in website) by depositing Rs.1000/- Cash (Rs. 500/- for SC/ST candidates)
Application forms are also available directly from CIMP Admissions Office by paying a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/-(Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of 'Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna' payable at Patna. The forms can also be downloaded from our website. Such filled in forms should be sent along with the DD at the address mentioned below.
All forms should be filled in carefully with a ball point pen (black ink) and must reach at the address mentioned below by Speed Post on or before 30.03.2010

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT scores and will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

Our Institute uses CAT for short-listing the candidates for our Post-graduate Programme in Management. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme.
