As a college, RAMAKRISHNA SARADA MISSION VIVEKANANDA VIDYABHAVAN is well known for its Discipline, Rules and Regulations, Culture and Traditions walking hand in hand with Women Empowerment. The exposure it provides is unparalleled and it gives students amply opportunities to showcase their talents and passions. The Professors and Matajis not only help during classes and in Academics but the bond built here helps one in becoming a better person. It mirrors us to know our inner self and capabilities. The college provides well furnished classrooms, a library, hostels, computer labs, common room, canteen and auditorium for the students. The Campus is beautiful with greenery all around. The classes are held regularly and attendance is given a lot of importance. Seminars take place often and students are encouraged to attend job oriented training courses from George Telegraph and Webel. Courses of counselling, photography, back and front office are also given as opportunities to learn. From spending time playing carrom in the common room during free periods to participating in the Annual Competitions lasting for a week, the students can explore every bit of themselves here. An Annual Excursion every year and and a traditional College Social before the Puja vacations is what every student of this college waits for. Being a student of the English Department, a lot of opportunities was given to me and i was also a part of our Departmental Fest 'REVELIO'. We also have an Open House in our Department where students are free to share any problems with their department and professors. We have also been part of Audio-Visual classes, Departmental workshops and seminars. We also had a Seminar library that provided us with books solely for our courses and sylllabus. We were also given opportunities to watch plays and theatres by our professors. To conclude, this college has given me a lot and developed me as a person in ways that will help me in the future and with the world beyond the boundaries of college life.
