Placid Vidya Vihar Sr Sec School Changanassery

Hi, I studied at Placid Vidya Vihar-19. I was convinced by my parents and forced to study there, even tho my seniors warned me not to. The school gave a lot of pressure leading to anxiety attacks and long-term anxiety for me. My parents like most Asian parents didn't care (as much as they were supposed to) about my mental health and expectations increased pressure on me. Teachers in placid are unable to connect with their students and teach in an old-school way. 20-25% of students in the senior secondary are constant users of d*ugs (And 40-60% of boys have tried them once) even if the management is not aware of this issue. Alcohol and C*garettes are often used by them. In my class 8 boys often smoked and offered others (Including Me) to try it. Many students in my batch used to drive two-wheelers and other vehicles even if they are underaged If the management sees this message plz take necessary actions to avoid the future. I hope my message reaches future students and be aware and stay conscious about these issues. The secret to good results in Placid is not the teaching it's the pressure. I plead to parents not to force their children to join Placid. -Richard Thomas
