I am happy to acknowledge that PITS institution located in a rural place near Thanjavur offers Under Graduate courses in Aeronautical Engineering, IT apart from EEE, ECE, Civil & Mechanical. And Post Graduate courses in Communication Systems, Computer Science, Power Systems and Vlsi Design. I record my appreciation and extend my admiration for the innovative thinking Chairman, Director and Faculty members for their services. I understand that PITS has been accorded Autonomous status recently, Kindly inform from which academic year it would be effective, please.
