Arguably one of the better engineering colleges in and around Chengalpattu and Madhuranthakam. But, the standards set by the "teaching" staff here are substandard; nowhere near what is considered acceptable. The environment here will NOT suit anyone who has the passion to improve their creativity, innovative thinking and all the other necessary skillsets expected at the UG level. My verdict overall: A big NO. One shouldn't spend their precious 4 years of undergraduate life here if you are considering to have a bright and ambitious future. PS: Don't even think of enrolling in a PG program. The only good thing at kvcet are the football grounds. Beautiful playing surface. We used to call them - Bernabeau and Calderon.
