If Board examinations are made optional, there will be no pressure on students due to external examinations. Will it not result in lowering of their academic achievements?
There will still be examination based on Board’s syllabus. The pattern and standard of question paper will also be decided by the Board. This will take care of levels of learning. There are other better methods of motivating and inspiring students to achieve more than pressure due to Board examination.
