The Government of India established the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) in 1963. It is an autonomous institute which was set up for assisting in professionalizing the country's foreign trade management, analyzing and dissipate data, increasing exports by developing human resources, and conducting research. This organization has two branches which are known as IIFT Delhi and IIFT Kolkata. The institute has diverse study programs for catering to the needs of International Business executives and mid-career professionals.
IIFA fees for MBA programs range between 7.60 lakhs to 3.60 lakhs LPA, and Executive Programs range between 3.5 lakhs to 1.75 lakhs LPA. IIFT has strengthened its correspondence with international institutions by signing MoUs and collaborating for various initiatives. IIFT is a member of The Academy of International Business (AIB), European Foundation For Management Development (EFMD), Brussels and International Association of Trade Training Organisations (IATTO), UK.
IIFT under takes a national level management entrance exam once a year for achieving admission to its MBA program. The exam is conducted in offline paper-pencil mode across 18 centers spread across the country. Group Discussion and Personal Interview are an integral part of the exam which shortlisted candidates have to go through after exams.
