CCH Central Council of Homeopathy
Central Council of Homeopathy is a statutory body under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India. This is a body setup by the Government of India in the year 1973, under Central Council of Homeopathy Act, 1973. Any university or institution willing to offer a degree or diploma in homeopathy will be able to do so, only if it is approved by CCH.
Objectives
It undertakes, develops, coordinates, develops, disseminates and promotes every kind of research in Homeopathy. It also formulates the patterns and aims of research, scientifically in Homeopathy. It exchanges all kinds of related information with other associations, institutions and societies involved with Homeopathy.
It is also responsible for collaborating various research studies and propagates various findings of the researches through journal, newsletters, seminars and workshops.
Functions
Some of the main functions it performs are raising or borrowing money belonging to the Council, looking after all the finance requirements of the council, offering prizes as well as grant scholarships for furthering the work of the council, permitting the funds to be held by the Government of India and establishing of a provident fund and/or fund for pension for the employees of the council and their dependant family members.
