Published 2 months ago

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the opening of a new Regional Office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, marking a significant expansion of its international presence. This development follows the approval by the Affiliation Committee and the Governing Body of the Board, with the Secretary (SE&L), Ministry of Education, Government of India, as the Controlling Authority.

The Dubai Regional Office is set to commence operations from the academic session 2024-25, along with the Centre of Excellence (COE) Dubai, which will begin its training activities following the establishment of the Regional Office. This strategic move demonstrates CBSE's commitment to broadening its horizons and enhancing the support system for all foreign schools affiliated with the Board.

From the academic session 2024-25 onwards, the jurisdiction of the CBSE Regional Office, Delhi (East), will remain unchanged, except for foreign schools which will now fall under the purview of the Dubai office. This shift in jurisdiction underscores the Board's endeavor to cater to the educational needs of students across the globe, ensuring that the quality of education provided by CBSE-affiliated schools remains consistent and exemplary, irrespective of geographic boundaries.

This announcement, authorized by the Competent Authority of the Board, signifies a new chapter for CBSE's global outreach, reinforcing its role as a leader in educational excellence and innovation.
