Delhi University Admissions 2019: Schedule for UG Programmes

It’s time again for the admission in the University of Delhi for the undergraduate programme for the students who have recently passed CBSE 12th examination. Delhi University has started the admission process for the year 2019 and application forms are available online since 30th May. There was some confusion among students regarding the re-evaluation schedule of CBSE which may hamper the Delhi University admission schedule but it all clear now. Delhi University is to align the admission process according to the schedule fixed by CBSE. University now has to fix the last date of the admission process in such a way that the re-evaluation process is completed before the last date of the admission process. Students can now start applying to various colleges affiliated to the University of Delhi. The University attracted more than 3 lacs students last year according to the sources. The admission in the university will be provided based on the merit and the entrance exam. On the merit basis, the percentage achieved in the 12th examination will be considered and will also be major criteria for getting admission in the desired streams of the students.

The followings are the dates/ weeks to remember for the students who are seeking the admission in the University of Delhi:-

Students are advised to check the dates on weeks mentioned above which will be notified in various newspapers. Students can also get in touch for the dates with the college authorities in the respective weeks which is mentioned here. The dates for document verification will be notified after the announcement of respective cut off lists.

If required, there can be further cut off list after the 4th cut off list but chances are bleak as the major of seats are fulfilled by then.

The major courses offered in the undergraduate programme are B.A, B.A (Hons), BBA, BMS, B.Tech, B.EL, B.ED, B.sc, B.com, LLB.

Students are further requested to log in to www.du.ac.in for any related information and clarifications.

Note:  Students seeking admission in B.A, B.com, B.sc Programmes must fill and submit the application form online.
