IAS Result

Recently UPSC announced the civil services examination results for various public services like Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Foreign Services (IFS), Indian Police Services (IPS) and Central Services (Group 'A' and Group 'B'). Total 920 candidates who have been recommended for the services.

A total number of 5,47,698 candidates applied for the examination for the year 2011 and 2,69,036 candidates appeared for the Preliminary examination, which was conducted on May 23, 2010.

The number of candidates who had qualified for the main written examination that was held ion October-November 2010 was 12,491 out of which 2589 candidates had been shortlisted for the Personality Test that was conducted this year in March-April.
