The proposed CBSE-i Performance Analysis Test (PAT) will be conducted with the following broad objectives:provide feedback to school principals with information on school achievement patterns.
as a benchmark in testing of skills, application and abilities of the students in given disciplines and domains.
support student learning and enable teachers to identify the strengths and weaknesses of their teaching methods.
provide feedback to students and parents on how well students have achieved learning objectives of the desired level in a narrative, descriptive format.
provide feedback to school principals and teachers with information for the school's annual results report and for setting goals, priorities and targets in the school's education plan.
provide information for monitoring student learning and targeting areas for improvement through curriculum redesign.
as a tool for moderation by the Board for SBA of the school.
