SRMEEE Counselling

The eligible candidates, chosen on the basis of rank, would be called for counseling for final admission. The physical presence of the candidate at the counseling is mandatory.

Counseling Procedure for Allocation of Seats/Branch

• The date/time for counseling will be intimated to the candidates by post, through SMS and will also be published in our university website: www.srmuniv.ac.in
• Change of date/time of counseling is generally not permissible. If a candidate does not personally appear before the Admission Committee for counseling/Interview on the date and time specified, his/her seat shall be offered to the next candidate in order of merit.
• The selected candidates will have to remit the prescribed fees by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "SRMIST", payable at Chennai, on confirmation of the seat, and acceptance of the branch allotted.
• The candidates should produce the following documents in original along with one set of photocopies while reporting for counseling. Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counseling process without these documents.

Failure to pay the prescribed fees before the stipulated date and produce the original documents before the deadline will result in cancellation of the seat allotted.

Required Documents in Original During Counseling for UG - B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Des.

• Counseling call letter
• SRM EEE-2010 Rank Card / Hall Ticket
• High school (Class X) certificate as proof of date of birth
• Mark sheets of qualifying examination
• Community certificate, if applicable (issued by the competent authority)
• DEMAND DRAFT for Rs.25,000/- towards part of tuition fee drawn in favour of "SRMIST" payable at CHENNAI

Required Documents in Original During Counseling for PG - MBA/PGPM/MCA/M.Tech.

• Counseling call letter
• SRM EEE-2010 Rank Card / Hall Ticket
• Mark sheets/consolidated mark statement of the qualifying examination
• Original degree/provisional certificate
• Score card of other competitive examination (if relevant) eg. GATE, CAT, MAT etc.
• Community certificate, if applicable (issued by the competent authority)
• DEMAND DRAFT for Rs.25,000/- towards part of tuition fee drawn in favour of "SRMIST" payable at CHENNAI.

For B.Tech programme, it is mandatory that the candidate attends the counseling. However, if the candidate is unable to attend due to some genuine reason, we can permit parents to represent the candidate. In such a case, the candidate should give an authorization letter in favour of his/her parents. The decision taken by the parents is final and binding. No change of campus or branch will be permitted afterwards. For M.Tech, MBA, MCA programmes: Candidates must attend the counseling. Representatives will not be permitted to attend on behalf of the candidate.
