The next country that catches the attraction for its earthquake records till date would be Chile in South America. You can very well see the Chile’s name in the list of largest recorded earthquakes in the world history, and it could be dated back to the year 1960. Many scientists in NASA say that the frequent earthquakes in Chile have changed the earth’s shift.

The 1960 earthquake of Chile would be listed as one of the dangerous earthquakes that happened in the world history, which also created a tsunami, which affected the Hawaii islandsJapanPhilippines, etc… on the whole ended up with a huge damage of more than 500 million dollars. Even, recently, i.e. in the year 2010, Chile has experienced earthquake, which was measured up to 8.8 on the Richter scale and lasted up to 90 seconds. Another earthquake was felt at 6.2 on the Richter scale, as result of an after-affect from the initial earthquake, which attacked Chile.
