Can I give improvement exam including maths of class 12th for 2020 if I failed in maths

I take six subject in class 12th 2019 boards and I failed in maths in my boards but pass in my all of five subject out of six and by results I am pass in my boards then I give compartment exam of maths and I again failed in maths but as result of compartment cbse said result is improvement ( result—improvement)in bottom of result.so I want to ask that can I give improvement in all of my subject including maths because i am preparing for iit jee now in Kota ........( Please reply 😣😣😣)
