Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) Scholarships for SC/ST

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) is one of India’s most valuable Company, having a market share of above 80% in India’s Crude Oil and Natural Gas Exploration and Production. This Institution offers 75 scholarships to SC/ST students pursuing Higher Studies in Engineering, Geology, Geophysics & MBA.

Eligibility:

Candidate should be student of either 1st year of Graduate Engineering Course or 1st year of Masters Degree in Geology / Geophysics / MBA pursuing full time course at any IIT or University/Institute recognized by Govt. of India.Student should have obtained Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of not less than 6.0 in 10 points scale of grading system or its equivalent in their class XII examination for Engineering students and in Graduation Degree for candidates pursuing post graduation in Geology / Geophysics / Business Administration.Annual income of parents from all sources should not be more than Rs 1.5 lakhs (i.e. Rs 12,500 per month)

Application Process:

The candidates fulfilling the above criteria may submit their typed application duly signed with a recent attested photograph, copy of mark sheet, caste/tribal certificate and income certificate from competent district authorities in the following format:
  1. Name
  2. Father’s Name
  3. Address for Communication
  4. Permanent Address
  5. Date of Birth
  6. Whether SC/ST
  7. Parents’ Income
  8. Name of Institution Course Duration Presently Studying In (Year) Subjects Taken (i) Performance in Class XII Examination or in Graduation for PG courses of Geology/Geophysics & MBA. (ii) I hereby certify that I am not receiving any financial assistance/scholarship from any other source and I fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid down by ONGC. If any information furnished by me is found false or incorrect, I will be liable to be disqualified from ONGC Scholarship besides refunding the amount received from ONGC.
