Important Information regarding AIEEE 2009
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
A number of requests and court cases are being received from the candidates who could not lock their choices for taking admissions in B.E./B.Tech and B.Arch/B.Planning on the basis of Score/Marks obtained at AIEEE 2009 due to non awareness/incomplete knowledge for locking the choices through online.
Though the Counselling part is purely dealt by CCB, yet CBSE is also being made a party because it conducted the examination of AIEEE 2009. As per letter No. F-23-21/2008 IS III dated 11th September 2008 issued by the Director (NITs) MHRD to the Chairman CBSE, the role of CBSE in conduct of AIEEE 2009, will be upto the declaration of Results and thereafter the Central Counselling Board (CCB) constituted by MHRD will conduct the counselling of the eligible students.
Hence, all cases relating to Counselling and admission will be dealt by the CCB. As such, the candidates who appeared at AIEEE 2009 are hereby informed to make all correspondence to Central Counselling Board with regard to admission in different Colleges like NITs, IIITs, Deemed Universities and other Institutions.
