Submission of Application for Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students-2009 (Left over Scholarships)
The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education Govt. of India has introduced a scholarship scheme titled “Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University Students” from the year 2008 with the objective to provide financial assistance to meritorious students from low income families to meet day to day expenses while pursuing higher studies.
The detailed guidelines of the said scheme, eligibility criteria and application form are available on the Board’s website www.cbse.nic.in.
In this regard, the CBSE had last invited the applications in the month of September 2009.
As some scholarships are still available to be awarded for the year 2009, the Board invites applications from the students who have secured 80% marks and above in the AISSC Examination conducted by the Board during March/April 2009 and have taken admission in undergraduate course in 2009-10, subject to fulfillment of the eligibility conditions. The complete application form should reach the CBSE office latest by 31 12.2009. It may please be noted that the students who have completed their Senior Secondary examination from other State Boards and those students who have applied earlier need not apply again to CBSE for the above mentioned Scholarship Scheme.
i’ve got 85% in 12th class with m.p board………am i eligible for the scholarship………sir i’m having financial problem …….i’ve lost my father and i need money for my future education
i too applied for csss with 88.4 percent of marks so please inform me if i will be provided with scholarship or not

I have passed my Xth in the year 2008 with 91.8% marks and also am a Girl child. My father’s income is less than 1 lakh p.a. and have come to know about this scheme only now. Am I eligible for this scholarship? If so whom do I contact to get the application froms and submission details.

i have passed isc board examination with 94.4%.i have applied for csss with my mark lists only.will my application be considered?
i have passed my 12 class in session 2008-09 from j&k board with 81.6%. so i’m elligible for scholarship scheme.I want to become an aeronautical engineer because of some financial problem i was not able to do it .also i’m only girl child . so just inform me whether i’ll be provided with this scheme or not
