Important Notes :

  • Only schools/exhibits selected at the Regional Level Science Exhibition are eligible to take part in this exhibition. Same exhibit/model may be displayed in this event as displayed at the regional level exhibition.

 

  • Every invitee school is required to submit a copy of this participation letter received from CBSE Headquarters at the time of registration at the venue school. This may be treated as most urgent and essential condition for participation.

 

  • All participating school teams are requested to report at the venue on 21st Oct., 2009 by 12.00 noon.

 

  • Every team is also required to submit a brief two-page write-up of the exhibit/project including title, objective, related principle, working, diagram/photo utility, cost and further scope etc. at registration table on arrival. This may be treated as important.

 

  • The school team should comprise of a maximum of two students and one escort teacher for one exhibit. However, in case of two exhibits from the same school, a total of four students and one escort teacher is allowed to participate in the event.

 

  • The participating teams are required to make their own travel arrangements and lodging/boarding arrangements at Delhi. The venue school can also be contacted for necessary information and guidance in this regard. The school has been requested to extend all necessary help related to desired information.

 

  • All expenses for participation in the event will be borne by participating teams/schools.

 

  • The school is located at a distance of about 25 Km from the railway station. A taxi fare of about Rs.300/- 350/- is generally charged from station to the venue school.

 

  • On reaching the venue school on 21st Oct., 2009 the school team is required to report to the Principal and get registered for participation on submitting a copy of this letter and the write-up. The exhibit/model should be arranged at the space provided for the same. The exact requirement for display of the exhibit i.e. space required, electricity connections, display Board, water etc. may be communicated to the venue Principal in advance. The confirmation of participation may be immediately sent to the Principal of the venue school along with the following information under different heads through e-mail/courier services.

 

  • The exhibits will be evaluated by a team of subject experts. Main parameters for assessment of an exhibit will include creativity/innovation, scientific thought, technical skill, utility, economic aspect and presentation. The school team should remain present at the allotted place for the exhibit for all the time on both the days.

 

  • Twenty best exhibits/teams will be given certificates of Merit and a cash prize of Rs.3000/- (Rupees Three thousand only) each.

 

  • The timings of the exhibition will be from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. The teams are required to report at the venue at 8.30 a.m. on the first day.
